Fukui Office performs the activities related to inspections, safety management examination and confirmation for nuclear installations located on the coast of Wakasa Bay on the one hand, and the public relations activities for information provision on the other. The Office will keep in close contact with JNES headquarters to ensure the appropriateness of their activities. |

The Nuclear Security Support Office has the responsibility of being in charge of study and research which pertains to domestic and overseas physical protection measures of nuclear material and associated facilities. The Office provides various types of expertise for the regulatory authorities as needed for their review and inspection of physical protection measures implemented by the licensees. |
